Mental Doodle https://mentaldoodle.com Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:33:49 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.8.3 420 Complaints https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3232 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3232#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:33:49 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3232 Absolutely nothing is more useless than complaints, …sometimes.

Typical complaints:

 * The Weather

 * Traffic

 * City Noise/ lights

 * Prices

 * Income

 * Hurting yourself, etc.

Ok, so?

It is actually ‘good’ to complain. (!)

It often acts as stress relief.

However if it’s about the same thing over and over, that’s no longer ‘good’.

It builds stress rather than release it.

Again, so?

For your repetitive complaints, don’t – stop – there,

ask others what their solution would be.

You will be surprised how one thing leads to another.

Try It!

Each molecule (thought) has two sides to it.

One is labeled North (Yes I can)

the other South (No I can’t)

Magnetism occurs  (You become effective)

when a lot of the North sides (Yes I can) align

and

with nothing to cancel their energy, it cumulates and a manifestation occurs that is easily measurable.

That’s exactly how you get results (make money, cause effect, etc.) in every single thing you do.

Everything.

Including those things you successfully ‘align’ yourself to not succeed at.

Successfully.

Ok, so?

It’s just a matter of synchronizing your thoughts one way or the other…

why not do it such that you actually do it.

Think about it!

In my personal view # 41 Elephants is truly encouraging to understand this.

Not died. Committed suicide.

OK, so?

Well over 100,000,000 people knew and liked him.

Liked what he did.

What he said.

How he was.

Again, so?

He would literally have to ignore the over one hundred million people who liked him, to succeed in convincing himself he was not liked.

Had no future. Was finished.

Despite over one hundred million differing opinions.

We are not talking about you here, are we?

You are not ignoring the many, many people around you who like you,

so you can maintain your opinion of being not as good as you ‘should’ be.

Then again, even if one hundred million people do think you are fine, it simply does not count if you don’t think so.

The change starts in you and not in the possible one hundred million people who like you. Or would like you if they ever met you.

Think about it!

Here’s 8 Random Thoughts.

1. My personal favorite Doodle is still 37 Or Its Equivalent

2. Do not argue with an idiot.

He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

3. Today: the Tomorrow you worried about Yesterday!

4. Champion: Someone bent over, drenched in sweat, at the point of exhaustion

when no one is watching.

5. Oh, you hate your job?

The support group is called everybody and they meet at the bar.

6. The attempt to reach success in a single leap

is the highest cause of failure

7. How extreme your example has to be to prove your point,

Dis-proves it!

8. Literally everyone has the ‘same’ 24 hours in their day. So eliminate physical time as a limiting factor when you want to make lots of money.

Thank you for, … 8 years!

413 Self Defense https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3217 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3217#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:05:49 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3217 The person ‘attacking’ always considers attacking appropriate.

So ignore that person (!)

What causes you to decide to defend yourself against an attack?

Wisdom is to first determine when you are not being attacked.

A 5 year-old screams at you on the sidewalk as you walk by.

Is this an attack?

OK, now let’s make it a 6 year old. Is this…?

How about a 7 year old? Eight? At what year do you decide to let this situation trigger you.

How about a 17 year old? Ah, I forgot to mention, yes the 17 year old is screaming at you, from his wheelchair. Or not a wheelchair, but her parents just died yesterday, and you remind her of one of them.

How about if you….

Is there really some point where things change from their external attempts /stimulus, to your internal choice, desire? Why? How does that serve you?

Just slightly lengthen the trigger point a bit. Say to yourself, this time I’ll wait a bit longer before defending myself.

Certain philosophies say, “Consider the source.”  That’s useful too.

406 Desperation https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3203 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3203#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 18:32:24 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3203 There are two main conditions under which we learn:

Inspiration and Desperation.

Desperation, we try to avoid if possible.

So we ignore a ‘bad’ or unwanted situation because to see where it leads is to look Desperation in the eye.

Then one day the whole thing deteriorates and you become desperate.

And you learn.

OK, so?

Why not learn before Desperation sets in. Apply pseudo-Inspiration to that situation.

Pretend to have the solution.

In fact, more than one solution.

Look at those solutions and briefly explore each.

Then set it all aside.

The next time this ‘Desperation’ comes up, you’ll know exactly what to do. (!)

Too simple?

405 Become Unsane https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3201 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3201#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 18:29:22 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3201 Between sane and insane is unsane – the world of the possible.

You currently only believe in predictable possibilities.

Yet one of Imagination’s functions is to create possibilities out of impossibilities

(Think Einstein, Edison, Tesla, etc.)

and that’s where the power and ‘magic’ of your Sub-conscious Mind excels.

Look at yourself in a mirror, what do you see?

A face. It’s familiar to you. You’ve seen it all your life.

Now imagine yourself with longer hair, shorter hair, blonde hair, brunette hair, red hair, green hair, blue hair, polka dot hair, striped hair growing flowers, no hair. Think of yourself growing grass from your head. Mowing it with a miniature lawn mower every day. Imagine your head growing steel wool.

To get luxuriant hair, first see yourself with all variants from which you can choose, then choose luxuriant hair.

Same for a fine automobile. Imagine yourself on a bicycle, on a penny farthing, a unicycle, a tricycle, a motor cycle, a camel. See yourself in a wide variety then see your preference as a greater possibility than a camel, a dogsled, a fighter plane.

Because you brought it within your acceptabilities by creating other impossibilities, you will grasp it.

This works for virtually all things. Increased income, a good relationship /friendship, love, etc.

To repeat! First you must give yourself a wide breadth of options — this is what engages your Sub-conscious — then add the option you wish as the highest probability.

Only then will you get it.

Become unsane.

Yet, down deep, you knowit‘ is the right thing / idea / solution.

That’s because ‘it‘ is already in you.

Sometimes not as a final product, which is why you do not have ‘it‘ until you see /hear that particular assembly. Then you immediately flash to ‘it‘ and know it’s the right one.

Computer chip as a solution, to a caveman = Blank.

To a tube, transistor person = Genius!

It must be in you first, to trigger recognition / resonance.

OK, so?

You obviously already have ‘it‘ in you,

So why not simply allow for this as a new normal for yourself.

Then simply watch things speed up for you.

Itis already in you, after all!

403 Two-Day Sets https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3197 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3197#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 18:22:03 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3197 Tomorrow is not all that far away.

We can easily ‘see’ what tomorrow brings.

Want to call someone but afraid of bad news. Wait until tomorrow.

Need to pay a bill that’s expensive. Wait till tomorrow.

OK, So?

Take advantage of the fact you already use tomorrow to push things off.

But emotionally.

Worried about something, anything? Then say to yourself “Today I will Rest and Relax. Then tomorrow I will worry about it.”

Not in two or three days. Tomorrow. I clearly see nothing is going to happen until tomorrow anyways.

And this way I get a day of Rest and Relaxation.

Then, when that subject comes up again, I simply chide myself gently and say “Not today. Tomorrow.”

And that’s it.

EVERY time the same thing comes up in your mind, you say “Not today. Tomorrow I’ll deal with this.” Knowing nothing will happen to make it worse in just one day, today.

Then tomorrow you do actually do what you were going to do today, even if it’s only to worry about something.

When you do that you have just cut down your less enjoyable time by half.

Of course the next day is now a new “set” of two days.

The first of which is Rest and Relax time.

And the second, the normal one, full of whatever.

After several rounds of these Two-Day Sets, extend this concept a bit and go to a Three-Day Unit, the first TWO of which you say Not Today, tomorrow.

And so on.
