Mental Doodle https://mentaldoodle.com Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:37:52 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.8.3 421 3D …Thinking https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3234 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3234#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:37:52 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3234 To see things in 3D each eye must see a slightly different picture. In the real world your eyes are spaced apart so each eye has a different view. Your brain puts the two pictures together to form one 3D image that has depth to it.

Ok, so?

It’s the same for …everything.

The wider the points-of-view are from each other,

The greater the depth of understanding

Whether ‘things’ or ‘thoughts’.

Deliberately introduce yourself to different ideas /thoughts /input.

Not the same input (points-of-view) as you now have.

When you are much older you get that depth.

Why wait?

Not died. Committed suicide.

OK, so?

Well over 100,000,000 people knew and liked him.

Liked what he did.

What he said.

How he was.

Again, so?

He would literally have to ignore the over one hundred million people who liked him, to succeed in convincing himself he was not liked.

Had no future. Was finished.

Despite over one hundred million differing opinions.

We are not talking about you here, are we?

You are not ignoring the many, many people around you who like you,

so you can maintain your opinion of being not as good as you ‘should’ be.

Then again, even if one hundred million people do think you are fine, it simply does not count if you don’t think so.

The change starts in you and not in the possible one hundred million people who like you. Or would like you if they ever met you.

Think about it!

Here’s 8 Random Thoughts.

1. My personal favorite Doodle is still 37 Or Its Equivalent

2. Do not argue with an idiot.

He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

3. Today: the Tomorrow you worried about Yesterday!

4. Champion: Someone bent over, drenched in sweat, at the point of exhaustion

when no one is watching.

5. Oh, you hate your job?

The support group is called everybody and they meet at the bar.

6. The attempt to reach success in a single leap

is the highest cause of failure

7. How extreme your example has to be to prove your point,

Dis-proves it!

8. Literally everyone has the ‘same’ 24 hours in their day. So eliminate physical time as a limiting factor when you want to make lots of money.

Thank you for, … 8 years!

A hero is a one shot deal /action

A Master is forever that way in all things.

Is a Master someone who hits back effectively, or someone who chooses not to hit back?

Neither, a Master is someone who is never so non-master as to get into a position to have to make that decision in the first place!

A Master avoids nothing. Any food, any thought, any anything is OK. Unless he fears he would be mastered by those things.

A Master is not humble. For there’s nothing to be Humble about.(!)

OK, so?

I prefer the concept of Acceptable Mastery. That’s when you agree for example, to become immobile in a car while it brings you somewhere.

Vs running ‘fabulously /masterfully’ …beside it.

Oh, yeah, ‘Guru’ is an easy one.

Just remember how you spell Guru:

Gee, you are you.

Think about it!

413 Self Defense https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3217 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3217#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:05:49 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3217 The person ‘attacking’ always considers attacking appropriate.

So ignore that person (!)

What causes you to decide to defend yourself against an attack?

Wisdom is to first determine when you are not being attacked.

A 5 year-old screams at you on the sidewalk as you walk by.

Is this an attack?

OK, now let’s make it a 6 year old. Is this…?

How about a 7 year old? Eight? At what year do you decide to let this situation trigger you.

How about a 17 year old? Ah, I forgot to mention, yes the 17 year old is screaming at you, from his wheelchair. Or not a wheelchair, but her parents just died yesterday, and you remind her of one of them.

How about if you….

Is there really some point where things change from their external attempts /stimulus, to your internal choice, desire? Why? How does that serve you?

Just slightly lengthen the trigger point a bit. Say to yourself, this time I’ll wait a bit longer before defending myself.

Certain philosophies say, “Consider the source.”  That’s useful too.

412 No One https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3215 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3215#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 19:01:20 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3215 What if you can get your wishes and desires without telling anyone what you want or even that you want something. No. One.

Wouldn’t that be interesting!

Of course, you actually have to do this experiment to get the results.

Ask for one dollar bills (Loonie, Euro, or pound coins) to frequent your life. First, actually look at a one dollar bill, feel it, smell it, taste (!) it, crumple it and anything else you think would help you become even more aware of, … a one dollar bill.

Tell no one you are doing this. No. One. This is an experiment between you and yourself. Within a week or so, depending on how many ‘transactions’ you have, you will definitely see results. The amount of money you have won’t change, but you’ll have a lot more one dollar bills (Loonie, Euro, or pound coins)

You caused this. With no one but you knowing they ‘should’ give you change in one dollar bills (Loonie, Euro, or pound coins). Some will even apologize that they only have ‘ones’ to give you.

Try it, you’ll be surprised at how effortless it is to get what you want.

As I said last week, sorry I can’t make it more complex, so you’d believe it’s this easy!

It’s recorded at the time it occurs. Obviously.

And that’s the memory you use when doing, well, anything and everything.

How else do you decide whatever, except by using what you know.

OK, so?

Well, that’s the problem.

Those recordings are continuously being made even as you read this.

So almost all of them are ‘dated’. Out-of-date.

That’s what you thought, when you were that age.

Yet that very memory is what you now use (!)

Time to update and become far more effective in, well, everything.

Bring to mind a memory of anything that currently interests you.

Something you possibly have some problem with.

Determine when you made the initial recording of that.

Give /tell that memory today’s date.

Actively watch it update itself.

Sorry I can’t make it more complex, so you would believe it’s this easy!

410 Just Imagine https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3211 https://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3211#respond Tue, 23 Sep 2014 18:54:11 +0000 http://mentaldoodle.com/?p=3211 Your mind uses two inputs.

One – your senses – is your ‘outer’ input:

Your eyes are the cameras. Your ears the microphones, etc.

All input first enters brain and is compared to previous input.

Then after an appropriate response is attached,

Conscious sees that ‘modified’ input.

Your other input is ‘inner’: Imagine-ation.

It’s superimposed on the senses input.

Like movies do to illustrate ghosts. Wispy, yet enough to notice.

Your Sub-conscious concludes that you consider this wispy superimposition is fantasy. And, as such, ignores it.

This means you operate with only half your input. The senses.

OK, so?

To make your ‘other’ input effective: Imagine getting what you want, for 20 minutes  at the same time each day. Now Sub-conscious sees a pattern. Add as many other senses to this Imagine-ation as you can. That makes this instruction more relevant and powerful than virtually anything else in your life.

A friendly reminder of the obvious:

Your entire life is a result of your input and what you make of that input.

To double your input…

Just imagine.

Inspiration and Desperation.

Desperation, we try to avoid if possible.

So we ignore a ‘bad’ or unwanted situation because to see where it leads is to look Desperation in the eye.

Then one day the whole thing deteriorates and you become desperate.

And you learn.

OK, so?

Why not learn before Desperation sets in. Apply pseudo-Inspiration to that situation.

Pretend to have the solution.

In fact, more than one solution.

Look at those solutions and briefly explore each.

Then set it all aside.

The next time this ‘Desperation’ comes up, you’ll know exactly what to do. (!)

Too simple?
