Ok, so?
It’s the same for …everything.
The wider the points-of-view are from each other,
The greater the depth of understanding
Whether ‘things’ or ‘thoughts’.
Deliberately introduce yourself to different ideas /thoughts /input.
Not the same input (points-of-view) as you now have.
When you are much older you get that depth.
Why wait?

You only wish reading one Doodle did it!

side-step your filters, that gets you what you want.

You currently only believe in predictable possibilities.
Yet one of Imagination’s functions is to create possibilities out of impossibilities
(Think Einstein, Edison, Tesla, etc.)
and that’s where the power and ‘magic’ of your Sub-conscious Mind excels.
Look at yourself in a mirror, what do you see?
A face. It’s familiar to you. You’ve seen it all your life.
Now imagine yourself with longer hair, shorter hair, blonde hair, brunette hair, red hair, green hair, blue hair, polka dot hair, striped hair growing flowers, no hair. Think of yourself growing grass from your head. Mowing it with a miniature lawn mower every day. Imagine your head growing steel wool.
To get luxuriant hair, first see yourself with all variants from which you can choose, then choose luxuriant hair.
Same for a fine automobile. Imagine yourself on a bicycle, on a penny farthing, a unicycle, a tricycle, a motor cycle, a camel. See yourself in a wide variety then see your preference as a greater possibility than a camel, a dogsled, a fighter plane.
Because you brought it within your acceptabilities by creating other impossibilities, you will grasp it.
This works for virtually all things. Increased income, a good relationship /friendship, love, etc.
To repeat! First you must give yourself a wide breadth of options — this is what engages your Sub-conscious — then add the option you wish as the highest probability.
Only then will you get it.
Become unsane.

]]>My wife would always call within a couple of minutes of their request. (in the 1970’s)
How is this done ?
40+ years later my conclusion is that people can – and do! – communicate with each other sub-consciously.
OK, so?
Make this work for you.
Someone, somewhere has an answer to a situation /desire you have.
Just before sleep:
1. Imagine a ‘web’ with you as center.
2. Decide what you want to achieve.
(Get a boy /girl friend, find a job, increase sales, etc.)
3. Pull a few of the strings toward you, one at a time.
Not every string is ‘pull-able’ but enough of them are.
4. Smile as the person(s) approach you.
Sleep, knowing this will tremendously speed things for you.
It takes 66 hours to simulate 1 second of brain activity on the world’s 4th fastest computer.
If you sleep only 6 hours, that’s 1,425,600 hours of equivalent computing time.
Now, combine that computing power with your ability to communicate with others through your Sub-Conscious Mind…
Of course, you do have to …do it!

]]>Which book to read next?
These give variety.
However they are simply variations of the same decision you made long ago.
OK, so?
Possibly you are somewhat bored. (Or getting there.)
Consider changing the actual Category.
A movie instead of a book.
Exercise instead of a movie.
Get mad instead of ignore.
Variety is OK …
however if things are not working out the way you sort of thought they would,
it’s because you re-inforce sameness by choosing variety but forget
they are all in a non-changing Category (Which movie? IS STILL ‘MOVIE’)
rather than choosing a different Category (Try a book. Or a walk. Or a… etc.)
When I change categories the ‘new’ fights with the old ‘familiar’.
Sometimes the new wins, sometimes the familiar.
However I am far more interested in life now than ever before.
New food ‘categories’ too.

]]>I created three ‘voices’ in my head:
Voice 1 always tries to agree with me
Voice 2 tries to never agree.
Voice 3 is the contrary one.
So if — at noon — I make a strong statement “It is daytime now.”
Voice 1 says “Yes, of course.”
Voice 2 says “Yes.”
Voice 3 says “In some parts of the world only.”
And, if — at noon — I say “It is night now.”
Voice 1 says “No.”
Voice 2 says “No.”
Voice 3 says “In some parts of the world only.”
This works very well when I am not sure of what my decision should be.
I simply make a strong statement and then listen.
Having Three Voices, each with their particular point-of-view, almost always gives me insight and clarifies the situation.
Try it!

If a map did not leave anything out it would be the territory.
OK, so?
Is there something you want /need and don’t have?
The first thing is to stop looking at your set of mental maps.
They obviously do not contain what you want-but-don’t-yet-have.
Annnd, unfortunately, it’s your mental maps that tell you how to look for things you want-but-don’t-have.
Which they don’t have in them because you still don’t have what you want /need.
Knowing your maps have effectively brought you this far is a strong statement to their effectiveness.
And to get what you want you should stick to what is proven effective, yes?
Well, no, actually.
You will get what you need /want by doing supposedly random, unrelated things.
Random, unrelated = not on your current maps.
But then what you want /need is also not on those maps.
Sooo, go for it!

Think of a problem /situation you want to change.
Then answer these questions as truthfully as you can:
* What is the advantage of not getting what I want?
Make up a ‘logical’ answer.
* What is the DIS-advantage of getting what I want?
* What would I have to lose or give up to get what I want?
Are you sure?!
* What would I recommend to me?
* What would an idiot do to solve it?
When you consider how little time these questions take,
why not at least try them?
You do want to solve it, right?
