My Daughter-in-Law was telling me how great Blockbuster (A video store chain) was.
Then she worked there one summer.
And was amazed at all the mistakes they made, things they got wrong, missed efficiencies etc.
Then she went back to school.
Soon she was telling people how great Blockbuster was.
A couple resigned from a company claiming their Computer Software was below par.
And joined a company with “Much improved” software.
Little did they know that both my company and their new company share the same supplier.
Remember your point of view is not necessarily the one others see.
That’s exactly how companies get it wrong.
By ignoring the customer’s Point of View.
Also how they get it right.
By ignoring the internal grumbles that are always there.
Check carefully which Point of View is driving you.
