If you misplace a physical object, (ie: Car keys, glasses, wallet, etc.) the best way to find it is to repeat the name of the object you are looking for, over and over, as you search. „Keys, keys, keys…“ This actually helps focus the mind and increases concentration and perception. If you have ‚lost‘ a non-physical item (ie: A name, date, book title, etc.) do not try to remember it. Rather, talk ‚around‘ it, about it, in various different
