At one point someone was upset by one<\/strong> word said.<\/p>\n His response was “Why do you put me on a pedestal so high you are upset over\u00a0one word<\/em>\u00a0I say.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Someone you know and respect makes a silly mistake and that lowers them in your eyes.<\/p>\n Lowers them from what to what?<\/p>\n Think of an ordinary person doing exactly the same thing. That’s OK.<\/p>\n Why then is it “not OK” for everyone<\/strong> to do the very same thing.<\/p>\n Because you have come to expect ‘more’ from that person.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Well because they are … and then you mention something they truly are good at.<\/p>\n As if that explains why they must be good at everything.<\/p>\n Pedestal time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When do you realize your parents are simply human beings?<\/p>\n Or your leaders?
