Taxi drivers in New York City are a realistic bunch.<\/p>\n
To drive in one of the busiest cities in the world, you do what works.<\/p>\n
And what doesn’t waste time. Or unnecessary motion.<\/p>\n

They signal their intent to change lanes and then proceed to do so.<\/p>\n
Yes there are cars in the other lane,<\/p>\n
however the Taxi Driver presumes they will move to accommodate him.<\/p>\n
And they do.<\/p>\n
So what seems like near misses are really not.<\/p>\n
