I sit at the annual meeting. This time it\u2019s Bongo drums.<\/p>\n

Each year they try a different thing.<\/p>\n

(Did I mention this time it\u2019s Bongo Drums!)<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And I have no desire to play the silly things. Banging on a Bongo drum is not my idea of motivation.<\/p>\n

Yet after a certain amount of time I start to get into the spirit of it all.<\/p>\n

And I enjoy myself.<\/p>\n

Yet if you ask me before hand, do I desire to sit through a session of Bongo drums, I\u2019d say no.<\/p>\n

I have no desire to do that.<\/p>\n

And shy people have no desire to get \u2018un-shy\u2019 or timid people \u2018un-timid\u2019.<\/p>\n

An alcoholic friend has no desire to give up alcohol.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hmmm, maybe we should look at those very things that we avoid or have no desire for.<\/p>\n

Maybe those are the very things that we need to look at, or do, or have happen to us.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next time I won’t be so quick to try to get my desire.<\/p>\n

Let something \u2018undesired\u2019 happen to you and see if it’s not the very thing you really need.<\/p>\n
