99% of the time, 99% results is fine. 99% returned calls 99% money made 99% attempts to apologize 99% results in an exam 99% of the time, … 99 is fine. (Exceptions are only 1% of the time.) OK, so? How’s your life doing right now? How much are you getting of what you want? (Give yourself an honest answer!) Hmmm, maybe by investing only 99% of your time /energy /efforts you then end up with 99% of what you want. Compare to what you actually now get. Of course you should have more, do more, be more, …so why aren’t you? The next time you’re about to go the extra mile, stay late etc. remember: 99 is fine. ———————— These are Related: # 6 Feed Yourself – 33 Solving a 5 – 37 Or Its Equivalent – 40 So What! – 55 Oxygen – 65 Wealth 96 Habits – 102 Response-ability – 114 Darts – 127 Not-Me – 128 And-And – 159 Make a Mistake 188 Better Business – 237 Let Go! – 240 Irreplaceable

238 First
I walk into my office pre-occupied with a problem.
I shut the door so no one disturbs me.
Within two hours my problem is solved.
Then I notice my secretary, basically doing nothing.
I have a pile of things she can and must do.
Yet, if I don’t ‚first‘ tell her, she does nothing and waits for me.
Someone is given a library to resell.
He immediately sorts the library.
Instead of ‚first‘ placing some items on sale.
(And has yet to make money.
From those who would eagerly buy some items instantly.)
Giving Priority to the most important things is often a mistake.
Make sure others around you have something to do or buy ‚first‘.

228 Automatic
Everyone is equipped with an automatic transmission.
Many gears, ‚automatically‘ changing to accommodate your desire for speed.
You simply need to accelerate a bit before it automatically changes to the next gear.
So, why say this?
We never accelerate lest it become the new reality and we are stuck working 24/7 and lose life’s pleasures.
So we stay in low gear (9 -5 Mon-Fri)
Some work so very hard at the start (University, Professional, etc.)
And then they cruise, but in the next gear up.
We all admire /envy their status and income.
It’s exactly the same even higher.
You just have to rev more at the start and for a longer period.
Then you see the mega rich /successful /powerful people, … playing golf.
Remember your Automatic does not work until you need it to.
Then it’s, well, …Automatic.

216 Lies
Lies are basically wishes-in-disguise. The fish was THIS big. I wish the fish was this big. I am a rich person. I wish I was a rich person. So when someone lies, you see what their wish is. This helps you interact with them a bit better. Same goes with yourself. You KNOW which things you lie about. These are the things you wish were true. The problem is, the lie substitutes for the ‚real‘ because you think it’s enough to tell the lie rather than get the wish. Start looking for ways to make them come true. One at a time. Bit-by-bit. That’s how it’s done in any case. A bit at a time. ————————– To reinforce this read any two below: # 10 Progress It – 24 The Wedge – 28 Getting What I Want! – 32 Red Light, Green Light 37 Or

213 Rockets
My head of country for Australia was very good.
She would treat the Sales people very well.
However she was missing one thing.
She would ‚dull‘ the fast movers.
Sort of the opposite of what you want someone to do, eh?
She praised them when they recited just how well their sales went.
And that was the problem!
They got the praise they wanted (and needed!), … and relaxed.
Enter Rockets
Rockets go like this:
„That’s great! AND how many future bookings did you get?“
„Great, did you ALSO recruit any one to help you?“
However we rarely, if ever (!) do the Rockets.
Next time someone in your family / friend does something great…
