A Master avoids nothing. Any food, any thought, any anything is OK. Unless he fears he would be mastered by those things.

A Master is not humble. For there’s nothing to be Humble about.(!)

I prefer the concept of Acceptable Mastery. That’s when you agree for example, to become immobile in a car while it brings you somewhere. 

Vs running ‘fabulously /masterfully’ …beside it.

 

Oh, yeah, ‘Guru’ is an easy one.

How about a 7 year old? Eight? At what year do you decide to let this situation trigger you.

How about a 17 year old? Ah, I forgot to mention, yes the 17 year old is screaming at you, from his wheelchair. Or not a wheelchair, but her parents just died yesterday, and you remind her of one of them.

 

How about if you….

Is there really some point where things change from their external attempts /stimulus, to your internal choice, desire? Why? How does that serve you?

 

Just slightly lengthen the trigger point a bit. Say to yourself, this time I’ll wait a bit longer before defending myself.

 

Certain philosophies say, “Consider the source.”  That’s useful too.

We can easily ’see‘ what tomorrow brings.

Want to call someone but afraid of bad news. Wait until tomorrow.

Need to pay a bill that’s expensive. Wait till tomorrow.

 

OK, So?

Take advantage of the fact you already use tomorrow to push things off.

But emotionally.

Worried about something, anything? Then say to yourself „Today I will Rest and Relax. Then tomorrow I will worry about it.“

Not in two or three days. Tomorrow. I clearly see nothing is going to happen until tomorrow anyways.

And this way I get a day of Rest and Relaxation.

Then, when that subject comes up again, I simply chide myself gently and say „Not today. Tomorrow.“

 

And that’s it.

EVERY time the same thing comes up in your mind, you say „Not today. Tomorrow I’ll deal with this.“ Knowing nothing will happen to make it worse in just one day, today.

Then tomorrow you do actually do what you were going to do today, even if it’s only to worry about something.

 

When you do that you have just cut down your less enjoyable time by half.

 

Of course the next day is now a new „set“ of two days. 

The first of which is Rest and Relax time. 

And the second, the normal one, full of whatever.

 

After several rounds of these Two-Day Sets, extend this concept a bit and go to a Three-Day Unit, the first TWO of which you say Not Today, tomorrow. 

And so on.

He knew precisely how much he needed, when and for exactly how long.

 

I felt bad for him, not because he didn’t have the money but because he knew his situation exactly.

 

There were no unthought-of places where he misplaced some money. No loans he could get. Nothing. He was an expert at handling money. Which made it very hard when he ran out.

 

OK, so?

Well, I am sort of sloppy with money so there is always some-where, some-how  that I can find the money I need.

Same with apologizing, thanking, brainstorming, etc.

I am sloppy, so that means I can always add some additional effort and, since it would improve whatever I needed to add to, it almost always works /solves things.

 

What things are you sloppy with?

Relax, those are the very things that you can, when needed, simply pay a little bit more attention to and improve /solve.

The only time you have a problem is like my friend, Steve, when you have exhausted every single thing and it still needs ‚more‘. That is a problem.

Not when you’re sloppy.

Does your Worry Zone Size extend to there?

Now consider your Zone of Influence.

Your Zone of Worry size differs from your Zone of Influence size.

Again, OK, so?

You may be worrying about something you have absolutely no Influence over.

Next time you start to worry about something, anything (!)

first ask yourself if it’s inside your Zone of

Influence.

If it is, DO something about it.

If not, why worry.

40+ years later my conclusion is that people can – and do! – communicate with each other sub-consciously.

Make this work for you.

Someone, somewhere has an answer to a situation /desire you have.

 

Just before sleep:

1. Imagine a ‚web‘ with you as center.

2. Decide what you want to achieve.

(Get a boy /girl friend, find a job, increase sales, etc.)

3. Pull a few of the strings toward you, one at a time.

Not every string is ‘pull-able’ but enough of them are.

4. Smile as the person(s) approach you.

Sleep, knowing this will tremendously speed things for you.

 

It takes 66 hours to simulate 1 second of brain activity on the world’s 4th fastest computer.

If you sleep only 6 hours, that’s 1,425,600 hours of equivalent computing time.

Now, combine that computing power with your ability to communicate with others through your Sub-Conscious Mind…

How many times have you heard this in your life?

 

Ok, so?

Well, I got it wrong.

I used to think „If that’s so, when I was a teenager how come I didn’t Become a girl?“

I sure was thinking about them enough!

 

Yet, when I did think of ‚girls‘ my physical automatically acted exactly as I was thinking.

And many times… very obviously so!

 

You can also worry yourself into a physical ’state‘:

Nervous, can’t sleep, etc.

 

These are very physical effects that are a DIRECT result of thought.

Direct.

YOUR thoughts.

 

The cumulative is what you now ‚enjoy‘ …and this will continue to physically happen.

Good or bad.

 

You can’t change the guaranteed physical result, but you can:

* Stop thinking like that. Good Luck!

* Do something else for a more positive effect on your body:

Read a book

Watch a movie

Talk to someone

etc.

Go for a walk… will not work because you could still think about, whatever.

 

It’s your body. Think about it!
