9 Worry

Worry: Keeping something I have NOT YET solved in my consciousness lest I forget it’s not-yet-solved and it somehow overwhelms me.

I used to worry.

One day I got into my car and immediately started to worry about things at the office.

Then I said to myself: Daphne (my secretary) will absolutely bring these matters to my attention the moment I arrive.

So I put them out of my mind for the ride.

On my arrival I was immediately reminded.

On my way home I repeated the same self assurance: Tomorrow she will surely remind me of my current worries/problems, I need not worry /think about them on my way home.

I am pleased to say I have not worried since.

(It only works when you’re POSITIVE that someone /something will remind you.)
