Why not take advantage of this truism.
Those things you want to achieve:
Place messages, cutouts, photos, reminders ‘everywhere’
Kitchen, Bathroom, car, door(s), etc.
(Until everyone else thinks you’ve overdone it, then… keep doing it.)
Those things you want to forget:
Get RID of the very same reminders.
A chair, a shirt, photos, anything and everything that reminds you.
No need to change apartments, just repaint if need be.
If it’s an unwanted memory that recurs then
choose a really enjoyable one and simply substitute it.
