You actually go faster because you can always use the Reverse Gear to correct things.

* Unless you refuse to use it.

* Unless you believe using Reverse Gear somehow shows you are ‘wrong’.

* Unless you have to be right the very first time, every time.

Never using Reverse Gear actually slows you down tremendously.
