127 Not-Me

If you don’t admit, accept and address the real cause you won’t solve it.
Sounds simple. And it is!
So why do we constantly repeat the same things over and over?
Because we usually, consciously or unconsciously, pin the cause on ‘not-me‘.
If you have children, you know who ‘not-me’ is. That’s who takes the blame for all the not-so-good things happening in your family.

We have an unwritten protocol of non-confrontation regarding petty or ‘Face’ saving lies. This causes us to think that we actually get away with it! That somehow we are right and we are not the cause of these things in our own life.

As if someone had held a gun to your head and forced you to apply for your current job. And checked up from time to time lest you try to get a better one.

Or some thing happened to you so very long ago and that’s the reason for your actions now. Sooo, just how long ago was that again?
And how long are you going to continue using it as the reason for… whatever.

Everyone around you knows and understands the reality of this. And not because of what you say but despite what you say!

For as long as you attribute the cause to not-me you are powerless to change anything.
It all starts with admission.
