Do it

211 Real Decisions

They asked a bunch of people to decide whether to do something or not.

Then divided them into two groups:

Those who said “YES do it.”

Those who said “NO don’t.”

Later they gave BOTH groups the same new, updated ‘results’: the thing went wrong.

And what would they now suggest.

The YES group (almost 100%!) said “Pour more resources into it.”

The NO group said “Withdraw from it.”

So very simple and obvious isn’t it.

Do your decisions reinforce your previous decision

or accept the new information and act on that.

In a company (or government) do NOT ask the same people who made the initial decision to ‘update’ their decision.

Guess what they’ll decide!

Make your decisions on new/real information,

and see how fast things improve.
