They are the same thing.
To not Apologize /Forgive someone is to indicate you have a reason not to.
My friend never forgave her husband for doing something really stupid.
– She wanted him to leave her.
My wife forgave me from something I did many years ago.
– She wanted me to stay. (44 years and counting!)
People always have a real message.
The not Apologizing /Forgiving is simply the method they choose to send it.
Next time, ask yourself: “What are they trying to tell me with this choice of words?”
Annnd, if it’s you, either not Apologizing /Forgiving, … tell. them. why.
Strangely this admission will actually ease the situation.
