417 Suddenly

How they build a building:

First, a fence suddenly goes up around the old building.

Then nothing seems to happen.

Suddenly the old building is gone.

Then nothing for a long time, …or so you think.

Look closely, a large hole is being dug.

Then nothing again for another long time.

Look closely and you see the foundation is being laid.

Then nothing. Again.

Suddenly the building goes up. It seems so quick!

Then nothing.

Unless you look and see the electrical and plumbing go in.

Again nothing.

Of course the plasterers and painters are hard at work, inside.

Suddenly the fence comes down.

And now you think the building is built.

Ok, so?

You do not change suddenly, you change bit by bit over a length of time.

Take full credit for your changes. They did not happen suddenly /overnight.

They are only perceived ‘suddenly’.

You are probably in the change process right now, whether you see it or not!

It truly accelerates everything if you have an expectant attitude.
