I want a house.
I want money to buy this house.
I want to borrow the money.
I want my bank to lend me the money.
And it’ll be a miracle if I get it.
Because I limit ‘how’ I get this house.
How about a dead uncle dying and leaving me the house?
How about a lottery?
How about a friend letting me have a house while they’re away for a year?
How about… well, you get the idea.
All too often we try to ‘dictate’ our miracle. It must be this way and that way.
Just say what you really want and allow things to happen anyway at all.
Any way.
You’ll get your desire far more quickly.
The second I stopped dictating ‘how’ to get it, there it was staring me in the face.
I just did not recognize it.
Yes I want a house because a house is large and friendly. Yet this apartment is also large and friendly.
Hmmm, I guess I just want large and friendly. And not a house (or an apartment!).
If you have trouble getting what you want, stop dictating ‘how’ and reduce what you want to basics — (ie: large and friendly) — and see how fast you get that!
