It’s pretty clear you did not know what you now know, when you did what you did.
It was by doing that you learned.
Most people laugh at themselves (or others!) for being ‘such a fool’.
Yet that is obviously the very thing they needed to learn.
Would you repeat what you did, now that you know what you know?
Sooo, you’ve learned by doing.
You either already know, in which case you know it’s Ok or
you do NOT already know, which is OK because you’ll be learning it.
Either way it’s OK to just do it.
