You can’t fear the unknown.
If it is truly unknown.

So what you do is populate the unknown with a bunch of known-and-undesirable things.

Then you choose to fear that one of the things you put there, may happen.

Many years ago this was written in the part of the map yet to be explored. The presumption was that, because no one goes where Tigers are, they would not notice that that part was simply not mapped.

What if the unknown is presumed to be good?
What kind of scary thing that evokes in us!
Because we are fear based.
“Better safe than sorry.”
True, if those are the only two options.
