12 Change

People resist change because they’re not all that sure that they’ll like what they change to.

Don’t worry, once you change, the new state is not the last place for you.
It’s ‘only’ a stepping-stone, and not an end result.

Doing what makes you happy allows you to take the next step.
Calling what makes you happy ‘Indulgence’ simply gives you a purposeful barrier.
You only think doing what makes you happy is ‘wrong’ or self indulgent.

But that is only a stepping-stone, too!

If you think change is a one time ‘perfect’ maneuver well, …good luck!
NOBODY in this world achieves that.
Take the first step, knowing that change is a stepping stone to, and not an end result.

I now see that when I changed, those very changes were not the end result for me but led me to other things.

Look into your past and see how the above is true for you!
Make yourself happy. Start with the easiest change first.

It’s a subconscious cross-index of select different Doodles
to ‘side-step’ your filters, that gets you what you want.

  1. Amazing that we do resist, considering that change is probably the one constant in the universe we all experience, whether we like it or not. Always a pleasure to remember again. ‘Stepping stones’ is a great way of looking at change.

  2. This is a good idea and well presented. I decided to change my tendency not to respond. I am happy already!
