62 Context

A) She walked into the room completely at ease, and completely naked.
B) Either she’s alone, or at home, or at a Nudist Camp, (or 3 years old!) or… well, you get the idea.

A) He shot her twice to make sure he killed her.
B) Then he took the knife she stabbed him with out of his arm, or then he ran away, or then he …

We can not conclude /judge /evaluate unless we can place A) in some sort of Context. ie: attach a B) to A)

It’s not what but in what context that makes all the difference.

Yet you don’t usually attach a context to your actions.
You are all too quick to ignore the situation /context and condemn your action.

I got mad /cried again.” Yes. BUT was it the same context? Or was it a much stronger one, which means that you are improving!

I made another mistake.” OK. Was it the same mistake as the last time? (Same Context?) No? So, you are learning!

Here I go again.” Yes. Does it take more to cause that to happen? (Different Context!) Then things are getting better.

It’s so easy to ignore ever changing Contexts and self-depreciate strictly because of our actions.

The next time you accuse yourself of something check what the Context is.
You’ll be surprised at how much you are improving.
