Almost everything is Possible

Very, very, very few things are Probable.

Ok, so?

Well, before you: worry, fear, think-you-hit-the-jackpot, etc.

ask yourself First: Is this a Possible or a Probable.

If it’s a Possible you are almost surely wasting you time because…

Almost everything is Possible.

Of course if it’s Probable…

prepare yourself for it to happen.

Reality check first: Has this Probable ever happened before or has it always magically disappeared, in which case re-look at the label you are giving it because…

Very, very, very few things are Probable.

When you include Time in your calculations /judgments,

things change.

Example: I slept with 5 people /made a million, etc.

Ok, so?

All at once = Wow!

Over 50 years = Boring

I aim at nothing = Stupid!

Actually, I aim at where it will be = clever /creative!

Include Time in your calculations otherwise ‘initially’ you aim at, … nothing!

It’s counter-intuitive to do something that ‘does-not-exist’.

I hate my job /personal partner, etc.

Then change it.

I can’t. I am not sure I would end up better.

What if the company closes /partner leaves you, etc.

Does this mean you are never, ever going to get another job /partner. Ever?

Well, no. Somehow I have to get another job /partner.

And you do. Sooner or later.

OK, so?

You forget that you are the one who solves the problem.

You get the job /meet the person.

Again, so…

Why wait?

To live with unhappiness is far worse than to change your situation.

And

Taking care of yourself before you “have to” gives you more options.

322 Prayer

Prayer usually means negotiating /trading something God ‘wants’ that you would not otherwise give Him, for something you want He would not otherwise give you.

Is God someone who ‘needs’?

Because, if you need something, you obviously lack it in you.

And have a desire to get it. And a willingness to negotiate.

“I promise to adore you every week for one year IF you make my son well.”

Also, why would He need to trade what He can so easily give with a wave of His hand?

Billionaires set up foundations to GIVE away their money, because they have so very much of it. They simply want to know that it’s not going just anywhere. That would be throwing it away. Yet there is no Barter, no trade, just a one-way thing.

They give, you get. Period.

Presumably God has an abundance of, well, everything!

So why does it seem normal to have to ‘trade’ instead of just ask.

Just ask.

316 Limited Miracles

We tend to limit our miracles.

Look at this (real!) miracle:

Last weekend we drove to a resort area north of our city.

We found a small side beach almost deserted.

We decided to eat a late supper there, under the full moon.

As it darkened, to our surprise fireworks started.

Of course! … it’s Labour Day celebration.

Then a small ferry ‘hooted’ in the distance.

A few moments later a larger Ferry came in the opposite direction.

All the while fireworks filled the sky.

And reflected on the water.

We sat there in virtual silence.

When it was over we said, “Absolutely nothing will ever beat this!”

Then the lights lit on over 300 water craft as they started their way home.

To dictate your miracles makes them smaller than they could be.

Why not have an ‘additional’ light /water show.
