Lies are basically wishes-in-disguise. The fish was THIS big. I wish the fish was this big. I am a rich person. I wish I was a rich person. So when someone lies, you see what their wish is. This helps you interact with them a bit better. Same goes with yourself. You KNOW which things you lie about. These are the things you wish were true. The problem is, the lie substitutes for the ‘real’ because you think it’s enough to tell the lie rather than get the wish. Start looking for ways to make them come true. One at a time. Bit-by-bit. That’s how it’s done in any case. A bit at a time. ————————– To reinforce this read any two below: # 10 Progress It – 24 The Wedge – 28 Getting What I Want! – 32 Red Light, Green Light 37 Or Its Equivalent – 58 Needs – 74 Dictating Your Miracle – 201 One by One

215 Knowing
Count the number of ‘F’s in this simple sentence:
Finished files are the result of years of scientific research.
(Play the game = get the results!)
Most people are human (!)
They substitute ‘knowing’ for seeing.
When you don’t get the results you wish,
take another look, this time with your awareness rather than your ‘knowingness’
and you’ll see all 5 ‘F’s first time around.

214 Stage 3
This one needs a lot of help to execute.
Look at the related Doodles.
They’ll help get you out of Stage 3
————————————————————-
The owner of a 50 year old, multi-billion dollar company described to me the Stages his company goes through.
1 Initial Stage Create and Build
2 Automatic Stage Manage
3 Choice Stage Justify non-growth
4 Last Stage Blame
So, why say this.
Because it also applies to our own personal situation.
Now ask yourself,
At Stage 3 (or 4!) am I simply reinforcing that Stage or doing something to alter it.
They did something to alter Stage 3 (and 4) and still live and grow (Almost $10 Billion!) in this ever more rapidly changing world.
So, again:
Identify your Stage, your Company’s, Family, and your children.
Seriously choose to take appropriate action if at Stage 3 (or 4).
Consider the alternative.

213 Rockets
My head of country for Australia was very good.
She would treat the Sales people very well.
However she was missing one thing.
She would ‘dull’ the fast movers.
Sort of the opposite of what you want someone to do, eh?
She praised them when they recited just how well their sales went.
And that was the problem!
They got the praise they wanted (and needed!), … and relaxed.
Enter Rockets
Rockets go like this:
“That’s great! AND how many future bookings did you get?”
“Great, did you ALSO recruit any one to help you?”
However we rarely, if ever (!) do the Rockets.
Next time someone in your family / friend does something great…

212 Attitude Part 2
At one time you thought about how to
handle a knife and fork, comb your hair, give a talk, dance.
At one point in your life you did, in fact, have each one of these in your consciousness.
Until you learned them. Once learned you relegated the repetition to your inner mind or subconscious. (If you had to pay attention to every-thing you do, you would not be able to handle it.)
You also decided what series to ‘link’ together as an automatic / unconscious response.
A series of pre-decided actions is also known as an Attitude.
Some people have a ‘good’ attitude and some a ‘bad’ attitude about the very same thing.
What attitude (series of pre-decided/automatic decisions) do you hold regarding, … food? Setbacks? Mistakes?
What are your series of linked thoughts that end up with you automatically
* eating… too much, not enough, junk food, or whatever.
* avoiding situations where you could be wrong.
So how do we change this state of affairs?
How do we change our attitude?
Don’t condemn yourself, correct yourself.
Correct yourself after the event but not during!
A simple key to success.
