Do it

69 Labels

A drunk and his drug-taking companion go to an adoption agency.
They are turned down.
Nine months later they have a child.
And they’re called Mother and Father. As in, “Listen to me, I’m your Mother.”
“Obey me, I’m your Father.” And so on.

Just how much are you trapped by applying a word-Label instead of actually thinking for yourself.
Is Husband /Father such a Label that he can beat you, deride you, etc.?
Is Wife /Mother such a Label that you take abuse you would not take from anyone else?

Are you so afraid of being Labeled (Selfish, Uncaring, Cruel etc.) you automatically modify all of your actions lest… And are you now at a point you live a non-satisfying life?

Time to ignore Labels and see through them.
The easiest way is SUBSTITUTE other Labels for them.
Instead of the (ultimate!) Label GOD use Zeus. (As in “Thank Zeus!”)
For Husband /Wife /Mother /Father use Stranger.
From now on ask: Would I do /think /respond the same way if Zeus or a Stranger said that to me?
Many people can not even consider this idea of substitution!
