Don’t stand too close or you’ll always place the darts in the bull’s-eye.
And not too far away so you never hit the board.
Stand just far enough away to win, but not all the time…
And lose, but not all the time.

That’s how to play darts properly.
Remind you of your life?
Enough money to pay the bills but not much left over.
And, now and then, an unexpected loss (something breaks or needs servicing, etc.) to absorb any extra money.

Ok, so?
When you were young you didn’t know, or didn’t know better.
That explains the past and why you were there, then.
Why are you still there now!
That you were there in the past is no reason to choose to stay there now.

Keep playing darts from where you are with the results you have, or change positions and win more.
Your choice.
Start with something small and annoying that you want to change anyways, and just do it!
